The Future Leaders Program is a 3-day program focusing on the basic principles of the accounting profession. It encompasses 3 full days of workshops and classes, where students will learn important skills for both accounting and business, as well as getting an exclusive look inside the firm of Citrin Cooperman and what we have to offer.
The workshops will be taught directly by the partners and staff who work at Citrin Cooperman, which will provide students with important opportunities to meet and establish contacts with firm professionals.
Workshops will focus on teaching students the different types of accounting specialties and the roles within each. It will also provide you with a general understanding of the skills needed for each area of accounting, as well as important life skills like time management and professionalism. Students will get to meet and talk with first year employees to learn, first-hand, about how the transition from college into public accounting.
