Talent Acquisition Associate (Recruiter)

Citrin Cooperman & Co. LLP seeks a Talent Acquisition Associate (Recruiter) to join its HR team and take an active role in recruiting experienced top tier talent. The Recruiter will build effective relationships at all levels to ensure an efficient and successful recruitment process and has specific responsibility for a variety of recruiting related activities including candidate sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, closing, as well as tracking and reporting information. Position will sit in the New York office location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Works closely with HR team and Office Managing Partners for 8 office locations
  • Reports to HR Director
  • Main responsibility is handling Talent Acquisition (Recruitment) for ALL office locations and facilitating the hiring of targeted professionals
  • Build relationships with business partners in order to assess their needs and provide solutions. Interact effectively with all levels of employees, management, and Office Managing Partners in the local office
  • Deliver on all areas of recruitment process including sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, assessment, and extending candidate offers
  • Proactively identify, source, and recruit candidates utilizing a variety of sources including, but not limited to, Internet postings and search, social media, direct sourcing, employee referrals, job fairs, research, networking and agencies
  • Conduct thorough telephone and in-office interviews with selected candidates
  • Document all activity into applicant tracking systems and other local applications, as required
  • Ensure compliance with EEO/Diversity and OFCCP policies
  • Strategize and identify efficient recruitment ways to decrease high recruitment fees
  • Keep HR Director, HR team and Office Managing Partners informed of recruitment efforts and progress
  • Prepare appropriate interview questions to be used by self and others involved in the recruitment process
  • Negotiate salaries, bonuses, and offer packages for staff-level to senior manager-level candidates
  • Educate all internal clients on the firm's recruiting protocol
  • Devise and implement strategies to recruit a diverse population of employees
  • Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality on matters that require discretion

Skills Necessary

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 3+ years of professional recruiting from professional services environment
  • Audit and Tax Accounting recruiting experience is a must  
  • Must have HRIS & Applicant Tracking System experience. ADP Workforce Now a plus
  • Team Player
  • Ability to effectively use behavioral-based interviewing techniques
  • Knowledgeable of employment law and hiring practices
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting key performance metrics (time-to-fill ratios, interview-to-hire ratios, etc.)
  • Ability to utilize social media in recruitment strategy
  • Proven success in managing and sourcing a high volume of job requisitions at one time
  • Proven success in monitoring costs and budget related to all recruitment activities
  • Ability to work well independently and be trusted to complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Travel may be required to outer office locations (8 office locations)
  • Ability to work overtime required on occasion
  • Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally
  • Strong organizational & multi-tasking skills
