The CEO Evolution is an annual seminar series that takes place in several regions where Citrin Cooperman has of ces. The CEO Evolution series aims to identify and recognize those CEOs and leaders who have risen to the top and evolved as industry leaders. This annual event brings together some of the most notable and most dynamic CEOs in the state to share their experiences, strategies and best practices to help others gain insight into becoming better leaders.

As CEO, your primary function is that of a leader. The CEO is responsible for shaping the corporate vision and then developing a keen strategy for growth, centered on key business drivers.  A CEO is also responsible for establishing and preserving a corporate culture that is consistent with the goals of the organization. So, what makes up the right CEO? Are they born leaders, or does the culmination of education, practical knowledge, and life experiences create the right CEO?

Connecticut

The 4th annual Fairfield “CEO Evolution” event, produced in association with the University of Connecticut School of Business and the Fairfield County Business Journal, took place on June 14, 2017 from 6pm-8pm.

This year's panelists really captivated our audience at the fourth annual CEO Evolution business seminar. We were honored to have John Preli and Oni Chukwu share their informative insights on the business risks around technology changes, global expansion, and the need to keep culture aligned with company strategy.

On June 15, 2016, in conjunction with the University of Connecticut School of Business and the Fairfield County Business Journal, Citrin Cooperman presented the third annual CEO Evolution.

Moderated by Mark L. Fagan, CPA, managing partner of Citrin Cooperman’s Connecticut office, the event featured three leading and iconic business executives: William S. Simon, Former President and CEO, Walmart U.S.; Margaret Keane, President and CEO, Synchrony Financial; and Scott Gillis, Senior Managing Director, Co-Founder, Galt & Company.

“This year’s CEO Evolution panelists captivated the audience with a wide array of topics including challenges facing CEO’s, aligning strategy, maximizing efficiency, implementing big decisions, and increasing shareholder value,” said Mark L. Connecticut On January 29, 2014, in conjunction with the University of Connecticut School of Business and the Fairfield County Business Journal, Citrin Cooperman presented the premier edition of the CEO Evolution.
